Storefront
The theme editor
A drag-and-drop canvas built on GrapesJS, a design panel of named tokens, seventeen themes, and live sections for your real catalogue.
It is a canvas, not a template language
Storefront → Theme opens a visual editor built on GrapesJS. You drag blocks onto the page, type on it and style what you selected. There is no Liquid, Nunjucks or Twig. You cannot write loops, conditionals or template tags against your catalogue.
Your real catalogue appears through live sections: a product grid, a category list, opening hours, a contact block. Each one renders your real products and prices in the customer’s language, and updates when the catalogue changes. On the canvas it is a locked block you can move, duplicate or delete, but not take apart, because it is not markup. Everything you draw around it is HTML and CSS.
Design tokens
The design panel sets typography, layout and density, colour roles, surfaces, buttons, the header and motion. Each is a choice from a named list, not a free number. A token you never set emits no CSS, so the theme’s own styling stays in charge.
Themes
Seventeen themes, and each one changes the structure of the page, not only the colours. Switching theme writes to your draft, so you can look before you publish. Themes other merchants publish are under Storefront → Marketplace, and installing one also writes to your draft. Build with AI drafts a whole store from a description, and you still review and publish it yourself.
Custom HTML and CSS
A custom code section takes your own HTML and CSS. The CSS is scoped to that section, so it cannot restyle checkout or hide a price elsewhere on the page. Markup goes through an allow-list, and the editor tells you what it removed.
id attributes. Style with classes. JavaScript is not allowed in a theme in any form, and that will not change.Import a folder of pages
Point the importer at a folder of HTML files and each one becomes a page of your store, inside your header and footer, replacing any page with the same slug. Images in the folder are skipped, and the import says so. For themes as files you keep in git, see Themes as code.
