Affiliates

People who apply to promote your store, get a referral link, and earn a commission on the sales they bring. You pay them yourself.

Running a programme

  1. People apply through the affiliate form on your storefront.
  2. Approve or reject them under Marketing → Affiliates. Approving sets their commission rate, 10% unless you choose another. Changing a rate later applies only to future sales.
  3. Each approved affiliate gets a referral link, and a dashboard they sign into with an emailed link, with no password and no account. It shows only their own earnings.

Attribution

  • A referral click is remembered for 30 days. The last affiliate clicked gets the sale.
  • The commission is recorded when the order is paid, and taken back if the order is refunded.
  • A checkout link can carry an affiliate too. An embedded checkout cannot, because browsers block the referral cookie inside a frame.

Paying affiliates

Sellstamp calculates and records commissions. It never moves money to an affiliate. Export what you owe as a CSV, pay it however you pay people, and mark it approved. The export asks you to confirm your identity first.
