Embedded checkout
Put a buy button on your own site. The checkout opens in an overlay on your page, and only the sites you list may show it.
Allow your sites first
Under Storefront → Embed, list the origins allowed to embed your checkout. Until you add one, the embed is off and its URL answers 404. Changes take effect within about 30 seconds.
- Allowed. An origin is a scheme and a host.
- Allowed. Include the port if you use one.
- Allowed, for trying it on your own machine.
- example.com
- Refused: no scheme.
- Refused: no wildcards. Each subdomain is its own entry.
- Refused: no paths. Any page on the site may embed.
- Refused: a secure page cannot be framed by an insecure one.
The snippet
The Embed page gives you this, filled in with your store’s address and a product:
<div data-sellstamp-product="my-plugin"></div> <script async src="https://your-store.example/embed.js"></script>
data-sellstamp-productis the product’s slug.data-sellstamp-labelchanges the button text.data-sellstamp-couponanddata-sellstamp-qtypre-fill the form, like a buy link.- Put as many placeholders on a page as you like. One script tag serves them all.
- The button is a plain
button.sellstamp-buy-buttonwith no styling, so your CSS decides how it looks.
What the customer sees
The same checkout as your product page: options, quantity deals, the discount field, VAT and address fields where they apply, and your terms. It is the same component, so it cannot drift. A processor with its own payment page, like Stripe or PayPal, opens in your page rather than inside the frame, because those pages refuse to be framed.
What does not carry into an embed
- Affiliate referrals. Browsers block the referral cookie inside a frame, so send affiliate traffic to your store's own page.
- Visitor analytics. Nothing is measured inside someone else's page. Embed sales still appear in your orders.
If it does not appear
- No button
- The script found no data-sellstamp-product, or the slug is wrong.
- An empty overlay
- This page's origin is not on your list. Add it exactly as the browser reports it.
- A 404
- Your list is empty, or the product is not published.
