Notifications
How you and your team hear about orders, payments, deliveries and problems, and where each alert goes.
Channels
- In-app
- The inbox under Notifications, updated live.
- To your account's address.
- Discord
- A channel webhook you paste in. Only real Discord webhook URLs are accepted.
- Telegram
- Your own bot, made with @BotFather, posting to a chat you choose. You paste its token and the chat ID.
- Web Push
- Browser notifications, per browser you turn them on in.
Choosing what goes where
Notifications → Preferences sets, for each category (orders, payments, fulfilment, billing, products, system), which channels you want. Preferences are personal: each teammate sets their own. You can set a default for every store and override it for one.
What you cannot turn off
Security alerts, such as a password change, a new sign-in method or two-factor being turned off, are always sent. They are not stored as preferences, so nothing can switch them off.
For your own systems
To send events to your own server instead, use webhooks.
