Storefront
Policies
Your terms, your refund policy and its window, the EU withdrawal waiver, and the other promises a store makes a customer at checkout.
Where they live
Store settings → Policies. All of it is off or empty until you write or tick something, except the refund window, which starts at 14 days because that is the EU withdrawal period.
What each setting does
- Terms
- Shown at checkout with a box the customer ticks. The version they agreed to is recorded on the order.
- Refund policy and window
- The text customers read, and how many days after purchase they can ask for a refund from their order page.
- Withdrawal waiver
- For digital goods sold into the EU: asks the customer to agree that delivery starts immediately and that they give up the 14-day withdrawal right. What they agreed to is kept on the order, for you and for them.
- Abandoned-checkout email
- An optional reminder sequence to a customer who left checkout, with an optional coupon in it.
- Customer data retention
- Optional. Erases the data of customers who have not ordered in the number of days you set, using the same erasure a customer can request. It never erases someone with a live subscription.
Sellstamp does not decide disputes over them
A refund request shows both you and the customer what they agreed to at checkout. Sellstamp never declines a request because of it. You decide.
