Payment processors
Stripe
Cards and the wallets Stripe offers, on Stripe's hosted Checkout page. The money lands in your own Stripe account.
At a glance
- Where
- Anywhere Stripe offers accounts. Set your store's country and the payment settings page tells you whether that includes you.
- Currencies
- Whatever your Stripe account accepts.
- Confirmation
- Automatic. The processor tells Sellstamp, and the order is paid and delivered with no action from you.
- Refunds
- From the order page. The refund goes back through the processor.
- Subscriptions
- Yes.
What you need
- Your secret key
- The signing secret of the webhook endpoint you create for Sellstamp
- For subscriptions only: a second signing secret, for a second endpoint
Connecting it
- In Stripe, create a webhook endpoint pointed at the URL the payment settings page shows you, and copy its signing secret.
- Paste the secret key and the signing secret into Payments → Stripe, then run the connection test.
- If you sell subscriptions, create the second endpoint for the subscription URL and paste its secret too. Without it, checkout refuses subscription products.
Worth knowing
- The only connectable processor that can bill a subscription.
- No Stripe Connect. Sellstamp never sits between you and Stripe, and takes no cut of the charge.
