Five kinds of product

File download
Delivered as a download link once paid. See Downloadable files.
Licence key
Generated at payment from the licensing policy you set. See Licensing.
Serial key
Handed out from a pool of keys you imported.
Subscription
Billed monthly or yearly by your payment provider. See Subscriptions.
Physical good
Waits in awaiting-shipment until you mark it posted. Shipping zones and rates are under Store settings → Shipping.

Draft and published

Create products under Products → All products. A new product is a draft, and customers can only see and buy a published one. A download product cannot be published until its file is uploaded and has passed the malware scan. Taking a product off sale archives it. There is no hard delete, because past orders still point at it. An archived product can be restored.

Options

Options (variants) are versions of one product with their own prices: Basic and Pro, or sizes. The customer picks one on the product page.

Prices in more than one currency

Sellstamp converts nothing. To sell in a second currency, type a price in it, for the product and for every active option. If a currency is missing on any option, you cannot save it, so a customer never finds one option buyable in EUR and the next one not.

What moves a price

A timed sale, a quantity deal and a regional price can all apply to one listing at once. They never stack: the customer gets the deepest single discount of the three. A coupon then applies on top of that price at checkout.

The EU counts as one region. EU rules forbid pricing one member state differently from another, so there is no field for it.
