Checkout

One checkout. The methods you connected, in the currency you priced.

Sellstamp holds none of your money. A customer pays into your own provider account on that account's terms, and the picker only ever shows the methods that account can actually settle in the currency being charged.

Hidden here: one connected method that does not take EUR.

The methods you can connect

Each with its own honest capability set. A provider that cannot refund, or cannot confirm itself, is listed that way rather than described around — and the list grows, so a test fails this page if an adapter ships without a line here.

Stripe
Cards, on Stripe's hosted page. Refunds, a connection test and recurring billing. The currencies are whatever your own Stripe account takes — Sellstamp does not narrow them.
PayPal
PayPal's hosted approval, then a server-side capture. Refunds and a connection test. Apple Pay and Google Pay are funding sources inside PayPal's own Orders API, and appear once you paste the domain-association file PayPal issues you.
Monri (WebPay)
A hosted card redirect that settles into your own acquiring account, with webhooks, refunds and a connection test.
CoinGate
Crypto, on CoinGate's hosted page, confirmed by webhook. No refunds — CoinGate's public API has no refund endpoint, so this adapter does not pretend to have one.
BTCPay Server (bitcoin)
Bitcoin and Lightning, through a BTCPay Server you run or borrow — the payment goes from the customer's wallet to yours with nobody in between, so there is no account and no KYC. Webhooks and a connection test. No refunds from Sellstamp: BTCPay's refund is a pull payment the customer has to claim, so you issue it from BTCPay's own invoice page.
Mollie
iDEAL, Bancontact, BLIK, cards and the rest of Mollie's hosted checkout, with refunds and a connection test. Mollie onboards sole traders without a company registration and pays out to a personal IBAN — the European merchant Stripe does not always take.
KEKS Pay
Erste Bank Croatia's mobile wallet, confirmed by webhook rather than a redirect, with refunds.
IPS QR
A Serbian instant-transfer QR the customer's own banking app reads. No processor and no webhook: you confirm the transfer arrived.
EPC QR
The same arrangement for any SEPA IBAN — the European Payments Council's GiroCode, EPC069-12, across all 36 SEPA countries. No contract, no API, no KYC beyond owning the account.
Pix
Brazil's instant rail, as a BR Code the customer's own bank app reads. Your Pix key is validated when you connect it — a typo pays a stranger — and the order's reference travels in the code's txid field. BRL.
UPI
India's rail, as a upi://pay link and a QR built from your VPA. The reference rides in the transaction field. INR.
PromptPay
Thailand's rail, from your mobile number or citizen/tax ID. A personal PromptPay transfer has no reference field a bank relays, so the order page prints the reference and asks the customer to put it in the memo. THB.
PayNow
Singapore's rail, from your mobile number or UEN, with the reference as the code's bill number. SGD.
PayID
Australia's addressing service — not a QR at all. Your PayID (an email, a phone number, an ABN or an ACN, each checked on connection) and the reference, typed into the transfer's description. AUD.
Paystack
Hosted checkout across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa and Côte d'Ivoire — cards, bank transfer, USSD and mobile money, whichever your account has on — with refunds and a connection test. Its Starter Business tier onboards an unregistered individual on an ID and a personal bank account, with a lifetime collection cap attached.
Flutterwave
The same shape across more of Africa, including M-Pesa, MTN and Airtel mobile money, with refunds and a connection test. Its Starter Account is for a business that has not obtained a registration number; upgrading past it needs a certificate of incorporation.
Mercado Pago
Checkout Pro for Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Uruguay — cards, account money, Pix, boleto, OXXO and the local cash networks — with signed webhooks, refunds and a connection test. A personal account opens with a national ID and no company registration. It charges the currency of the account's own country.
Xendit
Hosted checkout for the Philippines and Indonesia — QR Ph, GCash, Maya, GrabPay, QRIS, OVO, DANA, virtual accounts and cards, whichever channels your account has on — with webhooks and a connection test. Refunds work per channel; Xendit refuses the rest and the order page shows why. It does not take an individual: the lightest account is a sole proprietorship.
Bank transfer
Your account details and a payment reference on the order page. Refunds happen in your own bank, and the order records that you made one.
Cash on delivery
The courier collects. Marked paid when you say it was, in whichever currencies you take it in.
Custom method
A method you name and price yourself: a label and icon at checkout, a percentage and fixed adjustment (a discount if negative), and an order range outside which it is not offered. Nothing behind it — the order waits until you mark it paid.

Store credit is a tender rather than a connection: it is what an order settles with when the shop’s own credit covered it. A credit is spendable only at the shop that issued it — there is no platform-wide balance.

A second currency is a price you typed

Sellstamp converts nothing, anywhere. A currency you want to sell in is a price you set per product and per option, and the charge is that number — so there is no rate to freeze, no rate to go stale, and no rounding that disagrees with the customer's bank.

  • All of a product or none of it

A currency that does not price every active option is refused when you save it, so a customer can never find one variant buyable in EUR and the next not.

  • The methods narrow themselves

Every adapter declares the currencies it takes. Change the currency and the picker drops the methods that cannot settle it, rather than failing at the end.

  • Reports never add across currencies

Revenue is grouped by currency and shown per currency. A single total across three of them would be a number produced by a rate nobody applied.

What happens before the money moves

VAT, if you are registered
Tax is charged only where you have declared a scheme, at the rate for the country the buyer declared — never the one their IP suggests. A country with no rate row is out of scope, which prints differently on the invoice than zero. Reverse charge and OSS are supported; Sellstamp is not your tax advisor and says so on the page.
Coupons, bundles and tiers
Resolved server-side against your live catalogue and allocated across the lines before tax, so the invoice adds up to the figure the customer agreed to.
Who it is for
A gift purchase splits the payer from the recipient: the receipt, the refund right and the affiliate commission follow whoever paid, and only the licence moves.
Attribution
An affiliate referral or a marketing link's click id is resolved against this shop and frozen onto the order. Nothing about the person clicking is read — not the address, not the user agent, not the referrer.
A card-testing burst
Fifteen checkouts from one browser, or fifty from one network, at one store in ten minutes is refused with a 429 and a Retry-After. It is the only automatic refusal in the product.

What happens after it does

The provider is believed, not the browser
A payment is confirmed by a signature-verified webhook or a server-side read of the provider's own record. Nothing a return URL says can mark an order paid.
Refunds, where they exist
Issued through the provider and reconciled against what Sellstamp has already recorded. Bank transfer and cash on delivery have no refund call, because the money never went through an API.
Disputes
Normalised to open, won or lost, with the provider's own word kept verbatim beside it — and the evidence deadline kept, because missing it is an automatic loss with no appeal.
An unpaid checkout
Stays payable for 24 hours. An abandoned one gets a recovery email an hour in, and up to two more stages you set yourself; a declined one gets its own, earlier sequence.

Limits worth knowing before you build on it

What this does not do

  • No currency conversion, no exchange rates and no settlement currency separate from the displayed one. Presentment is settlement, because Sellstamp settles nothing.
  • No card data anywhere in this system. Every card method is the provider's hosted page; there is no PCI surface here to put a card number into.
  • No held balance and no payout schedule. Money goes from the customer to your provider account; Sellstamp is never in the path.
  • No card-present hardware. In-person sales are a QR on the table paid on the customer's own phone.

Open a store and try it.

Everything on this page is in the product today. Connect a provider in test mode and put a real order through it before you decide.
