Storefront
Custom domains
Serve your store from a domain you own. Sellstamp verifies you control it with a TXT record and routes it to your store.
Connecting a domain
- Go to Storefront → Domains and add the domain, for example
shop.example.com. - Create the TXT record it shows you at
_sellstamp-verify.shop.example.com, with the token as its value, then press Check now. - Once it reads “Verified — live”, add a CNAME from your domain to the address the page shows.
Certificates
Sellstamp checks that you control the domain and routes it to your store. It does not issue the HTTPS certificate. Your DNS or hosting provider does, or the proxy in front of Sellstamp. The domains page says the same thing.
If the record disappears
The TXT record is re-checked every hour. If it is gone, the domain is deactivated and stops serving your store. Your settings are kept. Restore the record and pass one check to bring it back. Leave the record in place for as long as you use the domain.
Plans
Custom domains are on Growth and above; see pricing for how many each plan includes. If you downgrade, a domain you already connected keeps working, but you cannot add another.
