Discord roles
Give buyers a role in your Discord server when they buy, take it back after a set time, and run moderation from automations.
Connecting your server
- Open Store settings → Discord and invite the Sellstamp bot to your server. You need the Manage Server permission there.
- Generate a code on the same page.
- In your server, type
/setupand paste the code. That proves which server you invited the bot to.
Granting a role on purchase
In the product form, choose a role to grant when the product is bought, and optionally remove it again after a number of days. A repeat purchase moves that date forward instead of starting a second clock.
Turning this off stops future grants. It does not remove the role from people who already have it. Removing a past buyer’s role is something you do on purpose, from the customer’s page.
How buyers link their account
From their customer portal, a buyer gets a code and types /link with it in your server. Until they do, there is no way to know which Discord account is theirs. A role rule that fires for an unlinked buyer is skipped, and the run log says why.
Automations
Automations can assign or remove a role, send a direct message, kick or ban, triggered by store events. Only owners and admins can change roles or moderate. The bot asks Discord for exactly the permissions those actions need and nothing more.
Not the same as Discord alerts
Posting order alerts into a channel is a webhook you set up under Notifications. It is separate from the bot.
