Crop PDF

Trim the margins of every page in a PDF by the millimetres you set, with a preview of what will be cut, for scanned pages or slides with wide borders.

Choose or drop a PDF. It is opened in this tab and never uploaded.

Your file stays on your device

Your browser opens and processes the file itself. It is never uploaded, to Sellstamp or anyone else, and nothing is kept after you close the page.

Selling a PDF?

An ebook, a guide or a workbook: Sellstamp gives it a storefront and delivers it automatically the moment someone pays. Open a free store

How to use it

  1. Choose the PDF; the first page is shown.
  2. Set how much to trim from the top, bottom, left and right, in millimetres.
  3. Check the shaded preview.
  4. Press “Crop every page” and download it.

Your files are not uploaded

The PDF is put together by this browser tab. Your files are read from your device, processed here, and the result is handed back to you as a download. Nothing is sent to Sellstamp or anyone else, so there is no copy on a server to worry about afterwards, and no upload to wait for.

Cropping hides, it does not delete

A PDF page has a crop box: the part readers show and print. This tool sets it, so the trimmed edges are hidden everywhere, but the content outside it is still inside the file and a PDF editor can show it again. If something must really be removed, crop is the wrong tool.

Sideways pages

Margins are measured on the page as you see it, so on a scan stored sideways “top” still means the top of what you read.

Questions

Does cropping make the file smaller?

No. The trimmed area is hidden, not removed, so the file stays about the same size.

Can I crop each page differently?

Not in this tool: the same margins apply to every page.

Will the cropped area print?

No. Printers and readers use the crop box, so only what is inside it is shown and printed.

Is the cut content really gone?

No, and that matters for sensitive information: it is still in the file. Remove sensitive content with a proper redaction tool.
