Fill PDF form

Fill in a PDF form's text boxes, checkboxes and drop-down lists in your browser, then flatten it so the answers cannot be changed. Nothing is uploaded.

Choose or drop a PDF. It is opened in this tab and never uploaded.

Your file stays on your device

Your browser opens and processes the file itself. It is never uploaded, to Sellstamp or anyone else, and nothing is kept after you close the page.

Selling a PDF?

An ebook, a guide or a workbook: Sellstamp gives it a storefront and delivers it automatically the moment someone pays. Open a free store

How to use it

  1. Choose the PDF form; its fields are listed.
  2. Fill in the fields.
  3. Leave “Flatten the form” on to lock the answers in, or turn it off to keep it editable.
  4. Press the button and download the filled PDF.

Your files are not uploaded

The PDF is put together by this browser tab. Your files are read from your device, processed here, and the result is handed back to you as a download. Nothing is sent to Sellstamp or anyone else, so there is no copy on a server to worry about afterwards, and no upload to wait for.

Which forms work

PDFs with real form fields (AcroForm), the kind where a PDF reader lets you click into a box. A form that only looks fillable, such as a scan or a page with lines to write on, has no fields for this tool to find, and the page says so. Dynamic XFA forms made in older Adobe LiveCycle are not supported.

Flattening

Flattening turns each answer into ordinary page content and removes the fields, so the form looks the same in every reader and the answers cannot be edited. Keep an unflattened copy if you might need to change something later.

Questions

Why does it say my PDF has no fillable fields?

The form only looks fillable: it is a scan or a page with lines. For those, sign or write on a printed copy, or use the sign PDF tool to add a typed name.

What does flattening do?

It makes the answers part of the page and removes the form fields, so nobody can change them and every reader shows the same thing.

Can I save the form and finish it later?

Yes. Turn flattening off, download it, and open it here again later.

Are my answers sent anywhere?

No. The form is filled by your browser and saved straight to your device.
