Your files are not uploaded
The PDF is put together by this browser tab. Your files are read from your device, processed here, and the result is handed back to you as a download. Nothing is sent to Sellstamp or anyone else, so there is no copy on a server to worry about afterwards, and no upload to wait for.
You need the password
This tool opens the file with the password you type and saves a copy without encryption. It does not guess or crack passwords. A PDF that opens without a password but restricts printing or copying is left alone: lifting those restrictions needs the owner’s password, and this tool does not remove them without it.
Questions
Can this remove a password I do not know?
No. It only unlocks files with the password you type.
Why do I need to unlock a PDF?
To stop typing the password every time, or to use the file with tools that cannot open encrypted PDFs, such as merging.
Is the unlocked file the same otherwise?
Yes. Pages, text and images are unchanged; only the encryption is removed.
Is the password sent anywhere?
No. The file is decrypted in your browser.
