Your text stays on this page

Everything happens in this browser tab as you type. Nothing you paste is sent to Sellstamp or anyone else, so it is safe to use with drafts, contracts or anything you would rather not upload.

What a slug keeps

Only letters a to z, digits and the separator. Accents are removed (é becomes e), letters with no accent-free form are transliterated (đ to d, ß to ss, æ to ae, ø to o, ł to l), & becomes “and”, and everything else becomes a separator. A slug longer than the limit is cut at a word boundary.

Questions

What is a URL slug?

The readable part of an address that names the page, such as summer-sale in /blog/summer-sale.

Hyphens or underscores?

Hyphens are the usual choice for URLs; Google’s own guidance suggests hyphens between words.

How long should a slug be?

Short and descriptive: a few words. The tool cuts at 80 characters by default.

Can I convert many titles at once?

Yes. Put one title per line; each gets its own slug.
