WebP to PNG

Convert WebP images to PNG in your browser, keeping transparency, for programs that do not open WebP. Nothing is uploaded.

Transparency is kept. Converted in this tab, never uploaded.

Your file stays on your device

Your browser opens and processes the file itself. It is never uploaded, to Sellstamp or anyone else, and nothing is kept after you close the page.

Selling images?

Photos, templates, presets or artwork: Sellstamp gives them a storefront and delivers the files automatically after payment. Open a free store

How to use it

  1. Choose or drop your WebP images.
  2. Press Convert.
  3. Download each PNG, or all of them as a zip.

Your images are not uploaded

Your browser opens the image, does the work in this tab, and saves the result back to your device. Nothing is sent to Sellstamp or anyone else, so there is no upload to wait for and no copy on a server afterwards.

Transparency is kept

WebP and PNG both support transparency, so a WebP logo or sticker becomes a PNG with the same transparent background. PNG is lossless, so the result is exactly the decoded WebP, and usually larger.

Questions

Is transparency kept?

Yes. Transparent areas of the WebP stay transparent in the PNG.

Why is the PNG larger than the WebP?

WebP compresses more efficiently. The PNG stores every pixel exactly.

Does this work for animated WebP?

Only the first frame is converted.

Can I convert many files at once?

Yes, up to 100, downloaded together as a zip.
