Social media image resizer

Resize images to common social media shapes (square, portrait, story, link preview, pin, header and more) by cropping to fill or fitting with bars. In your browser.

Resized in this tab, never uploaded. The same size is applied to every image.

Fit

Your file stays on your device

Your browser opens and processes the file itself. It is never uploaded, to Sellstamp or anyone else, and nothing is kept after you close the page.

Selling images?

Photos, templates, presets or artwork: Sellstamp gives them a storefront and delivers the files automatically after payment. Open a free store

How to use it

  1. Choose or drop your images.
  2. Pick a size.
  3. Choose Fill to crop the edges, or Fit to add bars; for Fill, choose what stays in view.
  4. Resize and download.

Your images are not uploaded

Your browser opens the image, does the work in this tab, and saves the result back to your device. Nothing is sent to Sellstamp or anyone else, so there is no upload to wait for and no copy on a server afterwards.

About the sizes

The sizes are the common shapes social platforms use: square 1:1, portrait 4:5, vertical 9:16, link previews at 1.91:1, pins at 2:3 and wide headers. Two are named after a platform because their help pages state them (checked 23 October 2026): YouTube asks for 16:9 video thumbnails at 3840 × 2160 with a minimum width of 640, and LinkedIn suggests 1512 × 256 for a Page cover. Platforms change their sizes, so check theirs before a big campaign.

Fill or fit

Fill covers the whole frame and crops what does not fit; choose which part stays in view. Fit shows the whole image and fills the rest with a colour.
