Sitemap generator

Make a sitemap.xml from a list of your page URLs, escaped and de-duplicated, with an optional last-modified date, in your browser.

Absolute http(s) addresses. This page does not crawl your site: list the pages yourself.

Only if it is true for every page listed.

Stays on your device

Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to Sellstamp or anyone else.

Building something to sell?

Sellstamp has a storefront, a checkout into your own payment account, automatic delivery and an API with webhooks. Open a free store

How to use it

  1. Paste your page addresses, one per line.
  2. Add a last-modified date only if it is true for every page.
  3. Download sitemap.xml and submit it in Search Console.

Nothing you paste leaves this page

The conversion runs in this browser tab. Nothing is sent to Sellstamp or anyone else, which matters for configuration files, customer exports and tokens.

No crawling

This page does not visit your site: crawling another site from here would mean a server fetching any address someone types. List the pages yourself, or export them from your CMS. Each line must be a full http or https address; others are listed as skipped. One sitemap holds up to 50,000 URLs.

Google uses the last-modified date only when it is consistently accurate, and ignores priority and change frequency, so they are not offered.

Questions

Do I need a sitemap?

Small, well-linked sites are found without one, but a sitemap helps search engines find new and deep pages sooner.

Why is there no priority field?

Google says it ignores priority and changefreq.

How do I submit it?

Upload it to your site, then add its address in Google Search Console under Sitemaps, and in Bing Webmaster Tools.

Can it crawl my site for me?

No. Paste the URLs; nothing is fetched from here.
