Image to PDF

Combine JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP and AVIF images, and HEIC photos where your browser can open them, into one PDF with your choice of page size, margins, order and rotation. Nothing is uploaded.

JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF (first frame), BMP or AVIF; HEIC where your browser can open it. Nothing is uploaded.

Orientation

Your file stays on your device

Your browser opens and processes the file itself. It is never uploaded, to Sellstamp or anyone else, and nothing is kept after you close the page.

Selling a PDF?

An ebook, a guide or a workbook: Sellstamp gives it a storefront and delivers it automatically the moment someone pays. Open a free store

How to use it

  1. Choose or drop your images, in any mix of formats.
  2. Order them with the arrows and turn any that need it.
  3. Pick a page size, an orientation and a margin.
  4. Press “Make the PDF” and download it.

Your files are not uploaded

The PDF is put together by this browser tab. Your files are read from your device, processed here, and the result is handed back to you as a download. Nothing is sent to Sellstamp or anyone else, so there is no copy on a server to worry about afterwards, and no upload to wait for.

What happens to each format

A PDF can hold JPG and PNG data directly, so those two go in unchanged. WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF and HEIC cannot, so your browser decodes them and they are saved again: as PNG if the image has transparent areas, which keeps them, and otherwise as a high-quality JPG (92%), which keeps the file a sensible size. A GIF contributes its first frame.

HEIC photos from an iPhone

HEIC is opened by the browser itself, and only Safari can do that. In Chrome, Edge or Firefox a HEIC photo is refused with a message rather than turned into a blank page. On an iPhone you can also set Settings › Camera › Formats to “Most Compatible” so the camera saves JPG.

Questions

Which image formats can I convert to PDF?

JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP and AVIF in any current browser, and HEIC in Safari.

Why does my HEIC photo not work?

Only Safari can open HEIC. Use Safari on a Mac or iPhone, or have your iPhone save photos as JPG (Settings › Camera › Formats › Most Compatible).

Does converting reduce quality?

JPG and PNG are copied in unchanged. Other formats are saved again, as PNG when they have transparency and otherwise as a 92% JPG, which is visually the same for photos.

Can I put two images on one page?

Not in this tool: each image gets its own page, fitted inside the margins.

Is there a limit on file size?

60 MB and 100 megapixels per image, and up to 200 images, so the PDF can be built in your browser’s memory.
